The Cranberries (engl.: Moosbeeren (Gattung Heidelbeeren), niederdeutsch auch "Kran-/Kraanbeeren") ist eine populäre irische Rockgruppe. Die Band wurde 1989 unter dem Namen The Cranberry Saw Us in Limerick gegründet. 1995 gelang ihr mit dem Album No Need To Argue der internationale Durchbruch. Einer ihrer erfolgreichsten Songs daraus, Zombie, handelt vom Nordirlandkonflikt. The Cranberries traten unter anderem schon zusammen mit den Bands The Rolling Stones und AC/DC auf. Besetzung
