Archive ist eine 1994 gegründete Trip-Hop/Rock Band aus London. Die Band wurde 1994 von Darius Keeler und Danny Griffiths gegründet, welche schon vorher zusammen in der House-Band Genaside II gespielt hatten. Das erste Album (zusammen mit der Sängerin Roya Arab und dem Rapper Rosko John) Londinium erschien 1996. Es war stark beeinflusst von Massive Attack, enthielt aber auch Rap- und Alternative-Rock-Elemente. Trotz der guten Kritiken, die das Album erntete, trennte sich die Band noch im selben Jahr, nachdem Unstimmigkeiten zwischen Roya Arab und Rosko John aufgekommen waren.
