Enya (* 17. Mai 1961 als Eithne Patricia Ní Bhraonáin in Gaoth Dobhair, Tír Chonail, Irland) ist eine irische New-Age-Musikerin und Sängerin. Der Name Enya ist die anglisierte Schreibweise des gälischen Vornamens Eithne, der genauso ausgesprochen wird. Er bedeutet sinngemäß „der Kern“, „Körper, Geist und Seele“ oder „kleines Feuerchen“. Leben Enya ist das sechste der neun Kinder von Leo und Maire (genannt Baba) Brennan.
